The
Japanese Empire was founded around the year 660 BC, but the first
efforts to unite it only started in the year 1000 AD Buddhism is
introduced around the 6th century, a result of strong Chinese
influence in the nation. During the Middle Ages, a powerful feudal
system flourishes, supported by ancient clans and fearsome warriors
(samurai).
During
World War I, Japan seizes land invaded by Germany, takes the region
of Manchuria and declares war on China. In World War II, declares war
on the U.S. attacked the naval base at Pearl Harbor in 1941.
Surrenders in 1945, after feeling the power of two atomic bombs
dropped on his people. In 1947, the winners Americans force the
Emperor to deny its divine origin and establish a government on the
island. Only in 1952 the Japanese sovereignty is restored.
After
World War II, Japan has emerged as one of the most powerful economies
in the world and the undisputed leader in technology. Position it
occupies today, despite the relative crisis that traverses.
